George Okulitch is the CEO of State Street Solutions, a government relations firm specializing in legislative advocacy and issue management at the state level.  He has over a decade of experience in statewide government, from direct staff and lobbying, to managing and working on a variety of state legislative races.

Between 1999 and 2003, George served as the Legislative Assistant to Senator Kate Brown, who was the Senate Democratic Leader at the time.   Ms. Brown currently serves as Oregon’s Secretary of State.  Later, he was a Campaign Manager in a targeted state senate race.  During the 2003 Legislative Session, he was hired as a Policy Analyst for the Senate Democratic Caucus.

George started his lobbying career with The Tresidder Company, one of the oldest and most successful firms in Oregon politics.  During this time, George successfully negotiated public policy for non-profits, businesses and professional associations.  Most notably, George achieved successes for the Oregon Humane Society, Nike Inc., Disability Rights Oregon, the Oregon Independent Colleges Association and the American Lung Association of Oregon.

He has a B.S. in Political Science/International Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a law degree from Willamette University College of Law.  When he’s not advocating on behalf of his clients, George fishes or sails on one of Oregon’s beautiful rivers.

With over 30 years of legislative experience, Alan is one of the most senior and respected lobbyists in Salem. Alan is a former legislative staff member, lobbied for a number of years as Senior Staff Associate for a statewide education organization and started this company over 20 years ago. He holds degrees from Linfield College and Boston College. Most recently, Alan was named one of Oregon’s 50 most politically influential personalities by “Tresidder is a respected lobbyist, political donor and considered one of the top political minds in the state,” they wrote.

Alan takes every opportunity to spend time with his children and grandchildren. A native Oregonian, Alan can often be found meeting up with life-long friends and new faces over coffee in the Capitol cafe, at his favorite Portland restaurants, or University of Oregon football  games.

Molly McGrew serves as the Director of Business Development and Government Relations. She has an extensive business career including software start-ups and successful launches of multiple pharmaceutical and biotech medications throughout the Northwest and California. Her background also includes multiple years working for candidates and Legislators in Oregon.

Her background includes over 20 years of work with businesses such as Wellero, Sunovion Pharmaceuticals, Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson, and political work with Senator Richard Devlin, former State Representative Ryan Deckert and many others.

She graduated from the Atkinson Graduate School of Management in 2000 with a Masters of Business and Public Administration (MBA, MPA), and Marketing and Human Resources. Prior to that, she studied at Portland State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History.

Rebecca Tweed joins our firm as our Political and Communications Director. Rebecca has been a political consultant and campaign manager in Oregon for the last nine years and during that time has worked on over 40 different campaigns varying from city council, mayoral, judicial, ballot measures, and state representative races across the state. She served as the Political Director for the Oregon House Republican Caucus where she worked on the key campaigns leading the Oregon House to a historical 30-30 tie between Republicans and Democrats in 2010.

She graduated from Syracuse University with Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science, Philosophy, and Public Policy. After graduating college, she worked as an International Story Developer at Fox News in New York City before returning to Oregon.

She also worked with non-political clients such as law firms, small local businesses and non-profits, doing fundraising, public relations, social media management, media training and communications development.  Rebecca serves on the board of Emerging Leaders for Oregon, and is regularly asked to speak at high schools, colleges and conferences about political strategy.
